Who We Are

Founded in 1799, Westtown School is situated on 600 acres in the heart of Chester County, in southeastern Pennsylvania. Westtown is a Quaker, co-educational, college preparatory day and boarding school for grades pre-K – 12.

Boarding is offered in grades 9-12 and is a requisite part of the school’s program in grades 11 and 12. Pre-kindergarten is a half-day program, while kindergarten has a full day schedule. Westtown School offers an essential education in which young children continually find wonder in learning, middle schoolers turn volatile energy into academic and personal momentum, and high school students move forward into advanced academic exploration, self-knowledge, and independent purpose.

But more than its program, its heritage, its campus, Westtown is people. Young and old, we are learners and thinkers. We are athletes. We are diverse. We strive to make the world a better place. We are leaders guided by deeply-held values. We are problem-solvers. We are Westtown!
