Sally Barton Quaker Leadership Scholar Grant

Through the generosity of a friend of the school, Westtown School now offers grants of $2,000 to assist Quaker families with boarding tuition. For over two hundred years, Westtown has provided financial assistance to families, but the need for financial assistance has always exceeded the funds available. Today at Westtown there is a new determination to see that no Quaker child is denied this educational opportunity for financial reasons. Westtown School strongly supports the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting Covenant on Education, which sets a goal of affordability and access for Quakers in Friends schools.

• Westtown will offer up to 60 Sally Barton Grants to boarding students
• Financial need is not a criterion
• Grant recipients may re-apply for this grant annually

Grant applications are now available from the admissions office. Completed applications are due by January 15th.
