Host Family Program

Welcome to Westtown’s Host Family Programs Page!

We are thrilled to expand upon the tremendous successes of our International Student Host Family Program and the Families of Color Group Host Program by offering The Host Family Program to any enrolled boarding students who feel they could benefit from the added support of a local family.

The Host Family Program

Leaving home to live in a dorm, miles away from your family can be both exciting and scary. Our students rise to this challenge every year, but our aim is to make the transition easier for students by connecting them to a local Westtown family. This family might invite a student to their home, come to sporting events, or take students to dinner a few times a term, to name a few examples. Click here to learn more about the expectations of host families.

While it is our desire to find a host family for every boarding student who requests one, priority will be given to students based upon their age (youngest first), geographic distance from home and special transitional needs. All international students will be assigned a host family for their first year at Westtown School. See link at right for details.

If you would like to learn more about having your child paired with a Westtown Host Family or if you are a member of the Westtown community and would like to host a student, please contact our coordinators:
