Middle School Athletics

Competitive team sports and a vibrant athletic program are central to the Westtown experience. In the 7th and 8th grades Westtown has a required interscholastic program. Students are placed on appropriate teams and there is an emphasis on the enjoyment of the sport and a commitment to each player playing in every game.

The middle school teams play a 10-12 game schedule, primarily against schools that are members of the Friends' School League or the Delaware Independent School Conference. The majority of our middle school coaches are also classroom teachers and this strengthens the relationships that are built between coaches and their athletes.
